Gatherite Bindery was originally founded by the Reed family in 1987 in the back of the family's small laundromat located in downtown East Dundee as a father and son business venture. Originally starting off with just a couple employees and a few pieces of used equipment, Gatherite bindery slowly grew from this humble beginning to finding itself doing finishing work for some of the largest printers in the midwest like R.R. Donnelley, Bell Litho, and the Schiele Group. Gatherite Bindery now boasts decades of experience in nearly every facet in the bindery industry.
Our 35+ years of experience, elevates and enhances our craftsmanship to the quality and pristine results customers have grown accustomed too. We stand by our machines, our work ethos and most importantly the expertise of our people to help us deliver the best product at the best price customers expect.
While building our business, we learned a lot. Through our experience over the years, we learned to develop efficiencies that we incorporate into our work process to make the experience streamlined, easy to understand and systematic.
